Foreign National (FN) / Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI): 

Students applying as FN/PIO/OCI are NOT required to appear for any entrance test

Students applying as FN/PIO/OCI are required to appear for the English Proficiency Test (IELTS/IELA examination).

For OCI/PIO Students:
10+2 or equivalent Transcript - 90% weightage 
Statement of Purpose - 5% weightage

2 Letters of Recommendation - 5% weightage

For FN Students:
10+2 or equivalent Transcript - 90% weightage
Statement of Purpose - 5% weightage

2 Letters of Recommendation - 5% weightage 


Non Resident Indian (NRI):

Symbiosis International (Deemed University) is happy to accept SET (Symbiosis Entrance Test- conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed University), www.set-test.org) or SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test conducted by The College Board, www.collegeboard.org) for undergraduate admissions. These are not mandatory requirements, NRI students with SET or SAT score will secure extra weightage  

Students applying under the NRI category are NOT required to appear for the English Proficiency Test (IELA/IELTS Examination).  

 For NRI Students: 

10+2 or equivalent Transcript - 80% weightage
Entrance Test (SET/SAT) - 10% weightage
Statement of Purpose - 5% weightage
2 Letters of Recommendation - 5% weightage
